Face SW and look about 2 fists up — a closed fist at arm's length is about  10°.  Magnitude 8.5.  Nearest bright marker: Antares, 7° away — M19 is above it and to the left.  You will find it in Ophiuchus.   Your sky here is about Bortle 7, bright, so for this you want binoculars at least, from here.   The Moon is 61% lit and only 23° away, which will wash out anything faint nearby.   Best in the next 12 months: 2027-06-05, when it reaches 24° with 3.2 hours of darkness and the Moon 0%  lit.
