Face S and look about 3 fists up — a closed fist at arm's length is about  10°.  Magnitude 8.5.  Nearest bright marker: Fomalhaut, 18° away — M30 is above it and to the  right.  You will find it in Capricornus.   Your sky here is about Bortle 7, bright, so for this you want binoculars at least, from here.   The Moon is 62% lit and only 39° away, which will wash out anything faint nearby.   Best in the next 12 months: 2027-08-02, when it reaches 27° with 4.3 hours of darkness and the Moon 0%  lit.
